Mrs. Ekram is a distinguished Architect, practicing in Bangladesh for last 35 years. She has completed many projects all over Bangladesh and abroad. Few of her landmark projects/buildings include Nagar Bhaban (Dhaka City Hall) building, Army central mosque, Bangladesh Bank projects, LGRD building in Agargaon, Open University project and many more. She has collected many accolades for her work in field of architecture and business from government bodies and academia.
Apart from her practice, she has kept her footprint in the area of finance and investment for last three decades. She has been initiator of many Greenfield companies which has become successful companies. Her tenure as a director and co-coordinator in multilateral and local companies has been insightful and rewarding. She has sit on the board of Dhaka Stock exchange and other International agencies.
